Today was our first big travel day. We took a train for about 5.5 hours to Interlaken, Switzerland. It was a lot nicer weather than I expected it to be! However, we dressed for colder weather and got very sweaty on our way to the hostel. We're staying at the famous Balmers Herberge. It's pretty nice, and they have just about everything here. You can even get your name engraved on a Swiss Army Knife! :) The other two napped while I looked at some maps and brochures for awhile. Then, we headed down for happy hour number one. Some nice people, Craig and Sarah, became our good friends for the night! Craig is 30 and from Australia, just south of Sydney! Sarah is 24 from Delaware and she is going into her second year of law school. She likes corporate law...crazy! The way she described law school was enough to make me never want to go haha. Her trip is consisting of a bunch of adventures: hang gliding, canyoning, sky diving, bungee jumping, etc. Another guy, Peter, from Scotland joined us as well. Soon, we moved to the Metro Bar for happy hour number two! Fun times were had by all. Logan spilled a drink on me and so that basically ended his night haha. We went to bed in our very hot and humid room and slept wonderfully!
